• Jalgaon based, Jain Irrigation Systems Limited has secured an order worth Rs 189 cr for delivering water in farmers' fields through creation of water infrastructure.
• The order has been received under Indira Gandhi Nahar Project (IGNP), Rajasthan. The project consists of 111,111 acres of area, covering 15000 farmers in 20 villages of Hanumangarh. The work order value stands at Rs 189 cr, to be completed in 18 months.

• Stock of Jain Irrigation opened flat at Rs 91.25 per share on Wednesday. The stock surged by 1.5% to touch an intraday high of Rs 92.65 per share.
• Major indices in the market are trading flat. Nifty is trading at 8949 levels, up by 2.9 points. There are 769 advances, 682 declines and 466 unchanged stocks on NSE, reflecting a fairly positive bias floating in the market.
• Jain Irrigation Systems Limited is an agri-business company.

• The Company is engaged in manufacture of plastic products; and manufacture of fruit or vegetable juices, their concentrates squashes and powders.

• Its segments include Hi-Tech Agri Input Products, Industrial Products and Non-conventional Energy production.

• Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd is currently trading at Rs 92.6, up by Rs 1.35 or 1.48% from its previous closing of Rs 91.25 on the BSE.

• The scrip opened at Rs 91.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs 92.75 and Rs 91.15 respectively. So far 1294066(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 4313.24 crore.

• The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 109.25 on 30-Oct-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 54.6 on 16-Mar-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 95.15 and Rs 88.55 respectively.

• The promoters holding in the company stood at 30.7 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 48.04 % and 21.1 % respectively.
